I left a review once before then thought it was too harsh and deleted it. They're is a lot more bad that has happened with this experience, too long to go into. By the way, they are still selling the G10 which is non-compatible. If they tell me that this phone is also non-compatible with their network (which I expect), I will be leaving.
I had their service for about a year and a half with no problems, and the price was very good, but after I had to upgrade my phone, they have been useless. This is just to get you to think they address problems. In a day or two, I expect they will attach a kind not to please provide some information for them to help. Don't know how long the battery will last, if it ever gets working. They sold me the Nokia 3.4 and it turns out it is a used phone. They told me I could get the same discount when I ordered another, but when that time came, they said no.
On the first non-working phone they were offering a discount of $100. They told me they would refund me, but didn't. I haven't had a working phone for about a month and a half because of them, but they have continued to bill me, even after telling me they would not. Am on hold again, but don't expect a good outcome. Called tech support yesterday and got cut off after one hour on hold. Ordered a Nokia 3.4 they assured me was compatible. Then they told me it's not compatible on their network (AT&T). Very disorganized company, selling phones that don't work.
I called Pure Talk, waited 51 minutes on hold, explained what Nokia stated only to be told."there is nothing we can do." Yes Pure Talk there may be "nothing" you lying, worthless, thieves can do BUT there is something I can do - YOU'RE FIRED! PS my new service provider just called me 4 hours after porting all 4 of my lines over to inform me that ".they re-contacted pure talk to find out why my 4 line had not transferred yet." and were told ".we're experiencing a extremely high volume of exiting customers.and we're running about 24-36 hours behind on release." Treat customers badly - They LEAVE in droves! Nokia also said that they had been getting many calls from AT&T users expressing similar issues.
Another 20 minutes on hold just to be told.".sorry, it's not our fault.the rep told you what Nokia told use.they were you need to buy a new phone.no refund or credit from us." and SHE HUNG UP on me! How RUDE! talk about terrible customer service and lying to their customers! I contacted Nokia and they ran a full check on my phone, found that PureTalk/AT&T had failed to push 4 security updates from Nokia thru then verified that MY phone WAS 4G-VoLTE and FULLY 5G ready. I told the tech I had been assured PRIOR to sale the it was VoLTE so he transferred me to a supervisor. I was transferred to "tech" placed on hold for 25 minutes, told by tech that while my Nokia was 4G-LTE it was NOT as advertised 4G-VoLTE. I explained that I was assured BEFORE I purchase the Nokia from them by their Rep that my phone was 5g ready.
After several attempted (very long hold time) calls to Pure Talk's customer service I finally got thru only to be told that my NEW (less that 9 month old at this point) was NOT 5G compatible and would soon not work at all on their (AT&T) network. Many other times calls would just drop out. Voice and Data service was very spotty and many time, despite having 4-5 bars of signal, the phone repeatedly failed to connect. The transaction went well and my new phone arrived in 4 days, all setup, ready for use. My 3 year old cell phone (from Verizon) wouldn't work on their network so they suggested several choices and I went with a newly introduced Nokia 4G-VoLTE phone that their rep said was reliable popular and 5G ready. I moved to pure-talk from Verizon in Feb 2021. Treat customers badly - They LEAVE in droves!
